Play as a creature you built. Roam a living island of five species and a roaming giant: sing, dance, charm and pose to make friends, or bite, charge and spit to fight. Every part you add gives an ability, and every creature walks on its own procedural legs.
Play as your creature on a living island. Every body in Wigglewild is built from parts (in the Editor, or grown from a seed) and walks on procedural legs: feet are placed by ray tests and stay planted, legs bend by inverse kinematics, tails swing as physics chains and googly eyes wobble. No models, no rigs, no animation files.
What to do: hatch at your nest, eat fruit, and meet the island's species. Walk up to one and greet it: it performs a short routine of moves on a beat (sing, dance, charm, pose) and you answer with yours. Fill its friendship meter and the whole species becomes your friend, and one joins your pack. Or take the predator's path: bite, charge, strike and spit, with telegraphed attacks, knockback and food left behind. Five species live around their nests (shy grazers, a curious bunch, a territorial herd, a pack of hunters and grumpy pond-sitters), they sleep at night, and the giant Thunderback roams the island. Every part gives an ability with a level from 1 to 5: change your creature at your nest's egg to get new ones.
Modes: Play (the island), Editor (build a creature and Play as it), Lab (measurements, stats, abilities, genes, family tree), Dex (everything you've met), Meadow (the sandbox: hatch, mutate and breed).
Controls: WASD move, mouse look (click the view), Shift sprint, C sneak, Space jump (hold to glide with wings), click bite, right click charge, R strike, T spit, F interact, 1-4 sing, dance, charm, pose, Tab Dex, H controls, Esc pause. Gamepads work too (left stick, right stick, R2 sprint, L2 sneak, Cross jump, Square bite, Circle charge, Triangle interact, D-pad moves).
