A Norse survival island. Gather branches and stones, fell trees that topple with real physics, craft tools, build a timber hut that creaks and collapses if you build it badly, keep warm by the fire, hunt deer and boar, face the moss troll, and wake the storm at the antler stone.
Wyrdholm is a small, contained survival island in the spirit of the great Norse survival games: a sunny meadow that runs into a dark fir forest, a lake and a ring of beaches, with day and night, fog, rain and storms.
What you do - Pick up branches and stones (E), craft a stone axe and a hammer (Tab). - Chop trees until they creak, lean and fall; split the logs into wood. - Build a workbench, then floors, walls, poles, beams, roofs and doors with snapping. Hold the hammer to see each piece's support: blue on the ground, then green, yellow, orange and red. Badly supported builds creak, drip dust and collapse. - Light a fire, get under a roof and rest to become Rested. Eat up to three foods to raise health and stamina. - Hunt deer (they flee) and boar (they charge), meet the moss troll in the dark forest, and offer two doe skulls at the antler stone to wake Stormhorn. - The world saves to your browser.
